Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) are running a course in June 2022 especially tailored for estate churches.
Leading your Estate Church into Growth
Are you wondering how to grow your church in depth and number after Covid? Leading your Church into Growth is a well-established programme which combines training in leadership with a really sensible and practical approach to church growth and evangelism. It has a particularly strong track record amongst urban and estates churches and many church leaders, lay and ordained, will testify to the impact it has had on their churches.
LyCiG works right across the spread of traditions. It does not claim to come up with lots of new ideas but rather shares strategies and practices which have been working for years in lots of churches. The course provides church leaders with a flexible and adaptable seven step journey. It is a satnav, a toolbox and puts us in touch with other church leaders who are on the growth journey.
From June 20th to 22nd 2022 at the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick there will be a special LyCiG course for estates churches which will be led by Bishop Philip North along with the Revds Linda Tomkinson and Neil Short. This will be a great chance to reflect, learn and network with other estates church leaders. To follow on from the three day course, a range of resources is available which will enable you to share the principles of LyCiG once you get back home. Ideally two or three people from a church will come along together and some dioceses and denominations will offer financial support with this.
You can find out all the details of the course and book on the website which is here: https://www.leadingyourchurchintogrowth.org.uk/the-national-courses
