Cinnamon Connect is a learning community that aims to put you in touch with people, resources and knowledge to help your church change lives. Basic membership is free.
You can use the community to access resources, information and to share experience and ideas. Some church leaders dip in to get support with specific challenges – perhaps to access policy templates when recruiting new staff, or to get advice on running a church audit. Others visit to learn how their church can respond to specific issues – perhaps mental health, addiction, or trauma. Cinnamon Connect often cover these topics in their monthly webinars where they bring in subject specialists to explore things in more depth. These include lively breakout sessions where great ideas are shared.
There are regular training workshops, too where teams can gain skills in areas such managing volunteers, building an effective fundraising strategy and missional listening. These groups are kept small, so there is plenty of interaction with the trainers and between participants.
